Olivier Bédat, Chief Executive Officer of 5àSec Olivier Bédat holds a degree from the University of Lausanne HEC, and began his career as a Commercial Attaché for the French Embassy in Athens (Greece). From 1978 to 1991, he led a commercial career within the IBM group where he held several management functions in Geneva, Zurich and at the corporate headquarter in Armonk (New York). In 1993, he joined the International Minit Group as Corporate Support Officer for 2 years during the time period when the company began its franchising activity. In 1994, he was appointed as the Operation Manager for Governments Services and then as Vice-President of operations by the company SGS Société Générale de Surveillance SA in Geneva. Olivier Bédat joined the 5àSec Group in 2001 and was nominated as President and Chief Executive Officer in 2003. During this period, the group was restructured to a fully International Organization and opened more than 300 outlets, reaching today more than 1’500 and a turnover above 250 million euros. Olivier Bédat is a Board Member of the French Franchise Association.
